Studio A is a full-service hair salon in Fairfield, Connecticut, dedicated to creating beautiful, customized hair in a welcoming and elevated environment. Our talented team of stylists specializes in everything from dimensional blonding, balayage, lived-in color, and custom color transformations to precision haircuts, blowouts, extensions, keratin treatments, and more. We believe every appointment should feel personal, relaxing, and tailored to you—from the moment you walk through our doors to the moment you leave feeling your absolute best. Our goal is to provide exceptional service, high-quality results, and an elevated salon experience while maintaining the warm, comfortable atmosphere that makes our clients feel at home. To ensure that every guest receives the time, attention, and experience they deserve, each appointment is thoughtfully reserved for you. At Studio A, we value your time and are committed to providing every guest with a personalized, elevated experience. Because each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, we kindly ask that you review our studio policies prior to booking. LATE ARRIVALS: Please arrive on time for your appointment so we can provide you with the full experience you have reserved. Due to the time-sensitive nature of our appointments, arrivals of 5 minutes or more past the scheduled start time may need to be rescheduled. If there is not sufficient time remaining to complete your service, the full appointment fee will still apply. NO-CALL / NO-SHOWS: Appointments that are missed without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Repeated no-call/no-shows may also result in the inability to book future appointments at Studio A. SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS & REFUNDS: At Studio A, we are committed to delivering beautiful, high-quality results and ensuring that every guest leaves feeling confident and cared for. Because our services are personalized and time is reserved exclusively for each client, we do not offer refunds on services. If you are not completely satisfied with your results, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We are happy to discuss your concerns and, when appropriate, provide a complimentary adjustment. Complimentary adjustments must be requested and completed within the 7-day adjustment period. Any changes requested after this period will be subject to additional service charges. GUEST POLICY: To maintain a calm, comfortable, and elevated salon environment, appointments are reserved exclusively for the client receiving the service. We kindly ask that additional guests, including children, not accompany you to your appointment unless they are also receiving a scheduled service. GIFT CARDS: Studio A gift cards are available for purchase and may be used toward any salon service or retail purchase. Gift cards are: * Non-refundable and not redeemable for cash * Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase * Not combinable with discounts or promotional offers * Not replaceable if lost or stolen PAYMENTS & GRATUITY: Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, or credit/debit cards. Payment plans are not available for salon services. Gratuity is not included in the service price and is always appreciated. Tips may be given directly to your stylist or through Venmo. See below for our Cancellation Policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We kindly ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule, that you do so at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We understand that scheduled adjustments are necessary and unforeseen circumstances may arise, but same day cancellations or no call/no shows will be charged 100% of the service booked. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the service booked. A text/email will be sent out prior to your appointment to confirm you are coming to your appointment. If you don’t confirm your appointment at least 24 hours before, your appointment will be cancelled and have to be rescheduled.

Ashley Moutinho OWNER
Ashley is the proud owner of Studio A, which she opened in 2023 after nearly 7 years of experience in the beauty industry. A graduate of the TIGI Hairdressing Academy in 2019, Ashley began her career working at two top salons in Fairfield, CT, where she honed in on her skills and developed a passion for creating beautiful, customized looks. She specializes in color services, with expertise in blonding, balayage, lived-in color, layered haircuts, extensions, and keratin treatments. Beyond her technical skills, Ashley loves building meaningful client relationships, meeting new people, and making every guest feel their absolute best. Outside of the salon, Ashley loves spending time with her husband, Scott, their son, Cristiano, and their dog, Koda. As a triplet, family is especially important to her, and she enjoys going out to dinner, catching up with friends, watching reality TV, staying active, and cooking or baking. Fall is her favorite season, and she loves embracing everything it brings. Ashley can’t wait to welcome you into her chair!
Carissa Perone JUNIOR STYLIST
Carissa is an artist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art, she brings creativity, passion, and precision to the chair. She specializes in blonding, lived-in color, haircuts, and her absolute favorite — blowouts. Carissa loves exploring and learning new techniques and always strives for those perfectly refined finishes. Her goal is to create hair that feels elevated, effortless, and perfectly tailored to each client. Outside of the salon, she finds inspiration through fashion, dining experiences, spending time with loved ones, and all things Disney. She plans to bring that same sense of innovation and joy into her work.
Julia Vallejo ASSOCIATE STYLIST
Julia has a passion for creating soft, dimensional, and effortlessly beautiful hair. She specializes in lived-in blonding, color services, and customized haircuts, with a focus on enhancing each client’s natural features while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. A graduate of Paul Mitchell in North Haven, Julia built a strong foundation in both technical skill and creativity early on in her career. She is dedicated to providing a personalized, luxury experience behind the chair, ensuring every guest feels confident, refreshed, and truly taken care of. Julia is always continuing her education and refining her techniques to stay current with trends while delivering timeless, wearable results. She loves building meaningful connections with her clients and creating looks that fit seamlessly into their lifestyle. Outside of the salon, she enjoys spending time with her family and the people closest to her!
